With losses by Bloomsburg (Pa.), Albany St. (Ga.) and Charleston (W.Va.), only three undefeated teams remain in this week’s AFCA Division II Coaches’ Top 25 Poll. No. 1 North Alabama is 9-0 after a dominating 62-27 win over Valdosta State (Ga.), while No. 2 Central Washington moved its record to 9-0 following a 38-7 victory over Humboldt State (Calif.). The final unbeaten team is Minnesota State-Mankato, who is also 9-0 this season after a 42-32 win over Southwest Minnesota State. No. 3 Northwest Missouri State and No. 5 Grand Valley State (Mich.) round out the Top 5.

Only two new teams enter this week’s poll with Saginaw Valley State (Mich.) re-entering the poll at No. 24 after a three week absence, while Bentley (Mass.) makes its first appearance in the Division II Coaches’ Top 25 since the final poll in 2004. The Falcons are ranked No. 25 this week. There is a only one Top 25 match-up this week as No. 9 Texas A&M-Kingsville travels to No. 15 Abilene Christian, with playoff hopes on the line for these two Lone Star Conference South Division rivals.
