The American Football Coaches Association and the Glazier Football Clinics have agreed to work together "to significantly improve educational opportunities for Football Coaches at all levels." The AFCA's commitment to the personal development of individual coaches and providing venues for professional growth has led AFCA to seek other educational opportunities that address the goals of AFCA.
Such an opportunity has been found in the outstanding Glazier Football Clinics, held in 28 cities across America. Glazier Football Clinics provide educational programming similar to what can be found at the AFCA Convention, which will next be held Jan. 10-13 in Orlando, Fla.
One of the attractions for the AFCA was the reasonable cost for a weekend of "learning from the best." Glazier Clinics fees - whether for an entire coaching staff, individual clinics or the very affordable season pass - are a bargain for football coaches who seek to become better coaches and better leaders.
The Glazier Clinic season pass has extra benefits as well - including webinars where coaches can interact with college presenters as well as an outstanding online library of coaching articles.
American Football Coaches Association Executive Director, Grant Teaff said, "the AFCA feels strongly that the Glazier Football Clinics can provide AFCA members and football coaches nationwide a great opportunity to grow professionally, individually and as a leader and mentor."
The American Football Coaches Association was founded in 1922 and now has more than 11,000 members at the high school, college and professional levels worldwide. The goal of the Association has always been to maintain the highest possible standards in football and the profession of coaching. In order to achieve those goals, the AFCA provides its membership with the greatest array of educational opportunities, including the four-day AFCA Convention, coaching manuals and an interactive website. The AFCA feels that the Glazier Clinics can be an effective extension of the AFCA's educational goals.
The Glazier Football Clinics are the largest football coaching clinics in America, educating, equipping and empowering men to become better football coaches. Registrations and participation of NFL, College, High School and Youth football coaches exceeded 30,000 at the 31 onsite and 100 online football coaching clinics in 2009. The onsite clinics are located at prime hotel venues in many of America's premier cities (listed below).

WHAT IS A SELECT CLINIC?
With attendance continuing to increase, Select clinics have been added in Atlanta, Boston, Baltimore, Cincinnati and Kansas City to supplement the main, larger clinics and provide increased value to the Season Pass. Select clinics are smaller, topic-specific clinics where speakers spend the entire clinic sharing their complete offensive or defensive package.
