Former AFCA President LaVell Edwards Passes Away

1987 AFCA President and Legendary BYU head football coach LaVell Edwards passed away Thursday morning at the age of 86. Edwards, a coaching icon in college football, led the Cougars for 29 seasons from 1972 to 2000. He amassed 257 victories, which ranks seventh in NCAA Division I history. In addition, Edwards led BYU to the 1984 National Championship and was inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame in 2004. Garden City's Sims Voted 2016 ACCFCA Coach of the Year

Garden City (Kan.) Community College Head Coach Jeff Sims has been named the 2016 American Community College Football Coaches Association (ACCFCA) Coach of the Year. Northwest Missouri State Finishes 2016 Season at No. 1
