We invite all football coaches' wives to join us in Nashville for the AFCWA program of events in conjunction with the AFCA Convention, January 6-9, 2013. Our events will be held in the Gaylord Opryland Resort. Be sure to drop by the Hospitality room located in the Magnolia Ballroom. It is a great place to see old friends and make new ones! We hope to see you there!!

Dear Coach's Wife, We would love to have you become a part of the AFCWA! Being married to a football coach is an exciting and unique adventure! However, there are times when others outside of the coaching profession don’t understand the challenges and demands coaches’ wives face. We do and we are here for you! The American Football Coaches Wives Association was formed to provide support and camaraderie to all wives of football coaches. High School, College or NFL, we all share a common bond of being married to a coach of the wonderful game of football! Every year while the coaches are meeting at their annual AFCA convention, the wives association comes together for meetings, programs and fun! This year, we will be returning to the capital of country music, Nashville. It is a time to celebrate winning seasons, encourage those who endured a tough year and provide support for those that may be in transition. It’s a time to make new friends and get reacquainted with old ones! We invite you to join us! If you are not able to meet us in Nashville, you can still join our association! You will receive our bi-annual newsletters full of information and encouragement! Your membership dues also support our service projects. Each year we award a scholarship to a deserving fellow coach’s wife who is furthering her education. Also, we present a donation on our visit to a local children’s hospital in our convention host city. Your dues really do make a difference in the lives of others!
