MOUNT UNION CONTINUES TO ROLL TO THE PLAYOFFS AND SITS NO. 2 IN AFCA DIVISION III COACHES’ TOP 25 POLL

No. 2 Mount Union continued their dominance of the Ohio Athletic Conference, beating Muskingum (Ohio), 59-7, to claim the conference title and their 26th-straight trip to the NCAA Division III playoffs. Mount Union is 9-0 and finishes the regular season next weekend at John Carroll (Ohio).

There was not much change in the Top 25 this week as the top 22 teams remained the same. Mary Hardin-Baylor (Texas) still sits at No. 1 with 45 first-place votes. The Crusaders will look to win the American Southwest Conference title outright as they host East Texas Baptist on Saturday.

There is one Top 25 matchup in the final week of the regular season as No. 7 St. John’s (Minn.) hosts No. 18 Concordia-Moorhead (Minn.). Huntingdon (Ala.) enters the Top 25 at No. 24 for the first time since November 14, 2016, while No. 25 Wisconsin-La Crosse re-enters the poll after a three-week layoff.
