Saint John’s WR & Allstate AFCA Good Works Team Member Dylan Wheeler
November 14, 2025
This week, we highlight Dylan Wheeler, a senior wide receiver at Saint John’s University and a proud member of the 2025 Allstate AFCA Good Works Team. Widely recognized for both his elite on-field production and his dedication to service, Dylan represents the very best of what it means to be a student-athlete.
Record-Setting Leader for the Johnnies
Dylan has established himself as one of the top receivers in Division III football. Last season, he finished among the nation’s best with 21 touchdowns and over 1,100 receiving yards, showcasing his consistency, instincts, and competitive edge. His work ethic and leadership have made him a key piece of the Johnnies’ high-powered offense.
Service That Goes Beyond the Game
What truly distinguishes Dylan is his commitment to giving back.
In 2024, he organized a performance-based fundraiser for Folds of Honor, raising more than $25,000 to support families of fallen or disabled military service members and first responders.
As president of Saint John’s Student-Athlete Advisory Committee, he has led campus-wide diversity and inclusion initiatives and helped raise over $35,000, providing nearly 100,000 meals to those in need.
His dedication to service extends internationally through service trips to the Bahamas and locally through volunteer work with Special Olympics and St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
A True Good Works Team Ambassador
Dylan Wheeler embodies the mission of the Allstate AFCA Good Works Team using sport as a platform to positively impact others. His leadership, compassion, and commitment to service continue to inspire teammates, coaches, and communities near and far.
