Notre Dame wins their 8th straight

Notre Dame jumped out to a 14-0 lead against Pittsburgh and never looked back, winning handily 37-15. The Irish defense recorded four sacks and held the Pitt offense to just 219 total yards while Notre Dame running back Jeremiyah Love ran for 147 yards and a touchdown. The Irish remain at No. 9 in this week’s US LBM Coaches Poll, while the Panthers fell out of the poll.
The top three remained the same with Ohio State still on top. No. 3 Texas A&M had to record a school-record comeback to beat South Carolina, 31-30, while No. 8 Oklahoma upset Alabama, 23-21, dropping the Crimson Tide to No. 10. Georgia moves up to the No. 4 spot after handing Texas a 35-10 loss, dropping the Longhorns to No. 18.
