Bucknell’s Terian Williams II: Leadership, Service, and the Allstate AFCA Good Works Team
October 3, 2025
This conversation features Bucknell University senior cornerback Terian Williams II, a standout student-athlete who is making an impact on and off the football field.
After beginning his college career at Stanford, Terian transferred to Bucknell, where he quickly rose as a leader and was voted team captain. His dedication, discipline, and playmaking ability have earned him respect from teammates, coaches, and the broader college football community.
But Terian’s influence goes well beyond football. In 2023, he founded the It Takes a Village Family Foundation, a nonprofit organization dedicated to strengthening families and empowering underserved youth. Through the foundation, Terian has organized impactful programs such as:
-
Providing furniture and groceries to families during the holidays
-
Supporting homeless fathers on Father’s Day
-
Giving back to youth in both Atlanta and Lewisburg
His efforts earned him a spot on the prestigious Allstate AFCA Good Works Team, which honors student-athletes who embody service, leadership, and community commitment.
Terian is also a strong advocate for student-athletes nationwide. Recently, he was one of only seven athletes invited to the Athletes.org Leadership & Policy Summit, where he helped shape conversations about the future of college athletics.
In our interview, Terian reflects on his journey from Stanford to Bucknell, his commitment to service, and what it means to use his platform as a student-athlete to create lasting change.
