
Oklahoma State Wins Last Bedlam Rivalry
Oklahoma State’s Ollie Gordon II rushed for 137 yards and two touchdowns to give the Cowboys a 27-24 victory over their archrival, the Oklahoma Sooners. In what could be the final matchup in this historic rivalry, Gordon gave the Cowboys the lead for good on a one-yard touchdown run with eight minutes left to go in the game.
The victory launched Oklahoma State to No. 17 in this week’s US LBM Coaches Poll, while the Sooners dropped to No. 16. The Cowboys are now tied with Texas for the lead in the Big 12 Conference.
Dropped out: No. 17 Air Force (8-1); No. 20 UCLA (6-3); No. 22 Southern California (7-3).
