Ole Miss Survives Second Half Shootout

Down 13-10 in the third quarter against Louisville, the Ole Miss Rebels built a 14-point lead in the fourth quarter. The Cardinals battled back to tie the game, 38-38, but with 1:28 left on the clock, Ole Miss drove down the field and kicked the game-winning field goal as time expired. Despite the victory, Ole Miss drops one spot to No. 11 in this week’s US LBM Coaches Poll.
Ohio State is still ranked No. 1 following their 56-3 win over Ball State, setting up a 1 vs. 3 matchup against Texas this coming Saturday night in Austin, Texas. Georgia moves up to No. 2, with Notre Dame at No. 4 and Indiana rounding out the top five. Oregon’s close win over Boise State caused the Ducks to fall four spots to No. 6.
