From his early days in the profession to coaching at multiple levels of football, Davila shares the experiences and relationships that guided his path and prepared him for leadership opportunities.
Coach Davila discusses how his background as a player influenced his coaching philosophy, the importance of finding mentors who challenge and support you, and the lessons learned while balancing the demands of coaching with family life. He also details key transitions throughout his career, including opportunities at Capital University, Otterbein, James Madison, Albany, and ultimately Keiser University.
Now serving as the Seahawks’ defensive coordinator, Davila offers insight into the challenges of coordinating a defense for the first time, the value of adapting to new responsibilities, and the importance of embracing every opportunity for professional development. His experiences working across multiple positions and levels of football have provided a unique perspective on leadership, player development, and career advancement within the profession.
